“Living In Between Spaces” aims to host an ongoing conversation about the social issues arising out of COVID-19, the prevailing systemic racism exposed after George Floyd’s death, the climate crisis, and the oppression of individual freedom and democracy experienced worldwide.

The series will open with WSIF Project Leader Joan Sleigh and SEKEM Managing Director Helmy Abouleish tackling “What Now?: Social Needs of Today” on Friday, the 31st of July at 16:00 CET via WSIF Facebook Live.  Joan and Helmy will discuss social distancing and unemployment that arose out of the pandemic and what these phenomena are asking us to change and develop, both as individuals and as a global community. They will also share the work and intentions of WSIF and SEKEM as partners in finding innovative and humane ways of unfolding individual potential and transforming society.
